Im not sure if amfa filed an appeal of interference but even though the company literally teamed up with the association such appeal would most likely fail as the nmb is very tight with mainline unions which offer compliance. It is sad Tim. It is sad that the asso had to get help from the co. in order for them to stay on property. Your right AMFA doesn't have an organizer full time. Something I don't really agree with, but that is how AMFA is built and ran.
Tossing 1,400 rampers on the list was a real stretch and i called the main organizers and told them i should be able to get them at least a couple hundred cards from those 1400. But i was told, 'we have enough cards' and those 1400 additions will be removed.
Ive never seen anything so blatant where the nmb authorized sufficient interest but then the company was allowed to add 1400 rampers, which made the total headcount 25 cards short.
This country has proven that a democracy only exist in idea only.
