DFW mechs?

How about we leave the DFW guys alone.... And not mention their current situation!! This follow the CBA to the letter talk has got to stop! I know that all of you and us have at some point gotten relief from your own CBA and turned a blind eye... It's not the gospel, we only ever turn to it when it benefits us, but when it restricts us, we curse it under our breath. Leave the DFW guys alone and worry about your own situations.

OK so let me get this straight, you follow the CBA ‘sometimes’ but can and will overlook it at others. YOU can’t have your cake and eat it too! I suppose you don’t have a problem if the company doesn’t follow the CBA? OK, maybe sometimes! YOU are not a union member!

Since you want to 'turn a blind eye' to the CBA then ALL of you go to the bottom of the seniority list and start over! How's that for 'TURNING A BLIND EYE'! YOU are just the person to cross the picket line when 100% support is needed, YOU are just the person to vote one way when 99% of the others vote another, YOU are just the person to turn on your union members when YOU can gain!

NO THANKS! I don't want you in MY union! Quit wasting space on this forum!!!

Spoken like a true future SCAB.
(not a personal insult, just an example of how a SCAB may talk)
Maybe you should go into management.

So, AT turned a blind eye to save someones job but you would enforce the CBA to put someone on the street?

Is that correct?

It's sad how further from the truth you could be... I don't stand with a union, I stand with my fellow mechanics... My belief in the mechanic brethren out weighs my belief or trust in any union. I'll always stand shoulder to shoulder with a fellow mechanic with or without a union, so yes, in that aspect, you're correct, I'll turn against a union if it means MY fellow trade member is suffering. That's what my belief in a what a union of mechanics should be, aka AMFA, instead, I've seen and heard the exact opposite. Especially with yor immature battery towards me and other AT mechanics... So before you go and analyze my post and look for grammatical or spelling errors, think of who you might want to defend you or look out for you when push comes to shove and you're placed in a predicament like the DFW guys. So leave them alone and stop trying to find a fight amongst ourselves, because I won't play that game with you.

You (an Ex-AMFA QUEEN) have alot of useless opinons on things that don't have anything to do with you.

I don't appreciate fear and intimidation techniques from the company or the union and/or the membership.

When you can keep it civil, you will not hear from me again.
Don't like it, suck it up!

Oh and to the scab remark, I understand how I may sound like a scab, but I can assure you, I'm not. I agreed to take concessions in order to save AMT's jobs once before and will agree to it again of necessary... Could you say the same about your fellow SWA mechs?? Because, from the looks of it, I wouldn't think so, especially voting to outsource work outside the US.
