Southwest, JetBlue and Alaska vie for Mexico City slots
This could get interesting as there are also 3 Mexican carries also in on the bidding.
Remember last time Delta was involved in a bidding war for slots was at Dal Love Field. However, this time they are being required to divest slots to only LCC's instead of them trying to bid on slots where only LCC's are being considered. Now who would be throwing a temper-tantrum right now if he were still allowed to post out here?
I also see that Volaris is in on the bidding. Not sure if we still have that code-share with them any longer, but if we do this might help us out a little more on these slots in Mexico City.
