I agree with you, but let me add that many have already run out of unemployment benefits, when in fact many remain unemployed, it will appear as if he has created additional jobs when in fact he has not. Guess this is another ploy from this administration, avoid an extension of benefits and twist the numbers, thereby giving the public a false sense of economic improvement when in reality is further from the truth. As time goes by and many more get taken off the unemployment list yet remain unemployed, it will make "boy george" look like a hero for those ghost jobs he has created.

George did not cost you your job. The economy was on a downhill slide before Clinton ever left office, with the declining economy businesses made business changes that cost some jobs but made them more efficient. Now they are running more efficiently and need fewer workers. It really is simple. If you want to point a finger look at the everage worker and the businesses that have made smart business choices to improve their profitability.

Unions in a sense have cost themselves jobs by being very inefficient.

Ah, but not to worry,
DUMBYA's GUARENTEED the USA 250,000 new jobs.(or was it 2.5 million) ?

There was a cartoon in the paper the other day, that showed Bush promising 2.5 million new jobs in the first panel.

The second panel showed Bush's Press Secretary issuing a correction by saying, "With the exception of the word million, the statement stands." :p :p :p

Please take your time to read before replying. I'm talking about this inept "boy george" creating additional jobs. He is just taking credit for jobs created that don't even exist at the expense of the unemployed who have run out of unemployment benefits and considered employed because they are no longer on the unemployment list BUT REMAIN UNEMPLOYED. No matter which way you put it the fact remains that NO ADDITIONAL JOBS have been created...... You are not insulting my ignorance, quite the contrary, you are just showing and insulting yours!!!!

So is it safe to say that should Kerry be elected, he will stop corporate America from outsourcing? Unless he plans on making the practice illegal with a constitutional ammendment, I think outsourcing will continue and even expand. No matter who is president. I suppose outsourcing did not exist under Clinton!

Not at all. I never claimed to be that much of a Bush fan. But the outsourcing issue has been around longer than he's been in office. What's the difference who is in office when it comes to outsourcing? Unless there is no law against it or fine levied against the companies that do it, I don't think compaines really care.

Now, if you want to impose tax consequences and maybe even fines against companies who outsource, that candidate has my vote.
