Delta seeks creditor help to fend off US Air bid

I remember when Piedmont Airlines CEO William Howard said PI was going to be a stand alone carrier, "the up and coming airline", with Norfolk Southerns help. Williams airline wasn't even in BK. The next week we all found ourselves working for USAIR. Money talks ..... 8.7 billion screams.

Of what? Running ponzi schemes? Cashing BIG checks they did not earn?

I fly Delta alot and I don't remember seeing a "circle of death" logo by the door of airlines they had ruined.

You know if the deal goes through US Airways will be inside its own "circle of death" -- how's that for bad karma.
