Once again every hub is having changes - I love how folks forget how there are flights added to CLT in addition to MIA etc737823 said:I challenge you, post a link from a Seeking Alpha transcript. If that's exactly what was said it shouldnt be difficult to find. You are naive if you really think senior management shares detailed performance a strategic information on an earnings conference call. But then again you believe all kinds of other non-sense that has never been true about AA so I shouldn't really be surprised.
Whatever happens CLTs days as a European and Brazil gateway are coming to a screeching halt. People on here csn deny it all they want, but MIA is where the traffic is and people want to not CLT. I'm confident that flight operations and number of local employees in CLT will be rationalized over the coming years, mark my words. And yes it will impact the local economy but no one here shed a tear when UA closed their MIA hub in 2004 or that AA has gone from over 100 daily flights at Logan to a mere 34 today.

If CLT is being dramatically downsized why did AA agree with CLT to increase investments in the airport
I fully expect routes to change in CLT - however to wish people lose their jobs is just negative
I realize certain banks don't teach people about making money hence a whale of a loss - it continues to amaze me how one predicts the reduction in profitable flying.
