Then why would you need our AR's if the military full of losers and suckers (Trumps words) is going to turn against a Democrat in office? They'd be doing all the "heavy lifting" so there is no need for the citizen militia to be armed.

For the same reason I keep a fire extinguisher in my kitchen.

Sure, the fire department can come put out a fire on the stove if I call them, but the house will probably be on fire before they get there.

BTW, "losers and suckers" quote aren't Trump's words. Those are anonymous source's words. But hey, Pravda 2020 is always to be believed according to the Socialists...

I'm so glad that you mentioned fire extiguishers. Here is a pro gun guy from a 1983 Frontline episode.

Biden's statement below from last week got fact checked by the Washington Post... and got "Four Pinochio's" in the process (their worst false rating)

There were no limits on things like cannons until the 1900's. The comment of the Tree of Liberty not being watered by patriots? That's an insult to every battlefield from Concord to Appomattox...

A great column in response today by Kurt Schlichter... retired Army Colonel (that's just one step below Brigadier General, KC)... goes into great detail why F15's and nukes are no match for tens of millions with firearms.

He asks a hypothetical question that I'm sure someone in the WH press corps would have asked Trump if he'd gone out and reminded us the government has F15's and nuclear weapons available at its disposal to quell civilian unrest...

“Mr. President, how many American would you kill to maintain your hold on power?”

Yep, just keep thinking about those tanks in a cul de sac, KC....

Just a guess, but a real civil war could be won without a shot when you consider which side the people who grow most of the food and almost all of the long-haul truckers fall on.

Let the rest eat their iPhones on Zoom.

LEt me ask you....if the demand for farmers crops were neatly cut in half because of them not selling to the enemy....how long would it be before they went out of business. We might not be eating it, but they wouldn't be making any money. Hell...we sell war planes and guns and ammo to our "friends", the Saudis, eleven of whom attacked the US about 20 years ago. So I think farmers might still sell to liberals. And with no crops to carry, the demand for long haul truckers would also be cut neatly in half. And of course...the folks in those farm states who depend on working for a company that is based in a blue state might also lose their income and suddenly find that THEY can't afford the farmers food.

Somehow you seem to think money trumps freedom to folks "way out there"...

Duh!!!

Look who you are talking to.

KC "Kool-Aid" Flyer.
If you were a farmer and demand for your crops was cut neatly in half because you weren't going to sell to gun grabbing blue states...How much of a loss are you willing to take before you realize that they haven't taken your guns and maybe it's okay to sell to them.

IF?

Why don't you stick to reality instead of unlikely fantasy scenarios.

I am not eolesen.

It always amazes me how deep you are willing to tread into the fantastic and the absurd.

What further amazes me is otherwise intelligent people are willing to follow you there.

How else do you expect him to justify his absurd fantasies?

the farming fantasy was E. He was the one who reminded me who grew all the food we eat in the event of a civil war. I'm just saying that their livelihood is a great thing to give up instead of their guns (which have never been threatened)
