Bush Defense Department Seeks To Outsource Craf Pr

Does anybody have the actual news article, press release, or anything else substantiating this? I'm a little dubious of anything that comes out of AFA these days.

Fly;

I personally find that most disturbing, and if I happen to fly with anyone who makes such comments, I would have to voice my opinion telling them to remove themselves from the list. Should they choose not too, then I would have to expose them to someone who would. To me, those brave young men and women are passengers, and should be treated as such.

This is the only one I have handy but a quick Google search should provide more if you wish them.

Actually, depending on the circumstances, it could be SAFER to use a foreign-flag outfit vs. a US-flag carrier.
And what would those be?

For a CRAF mission, it's not as if somebody on either end is not going to notice 200+ GIs boarding the aircraft, thus nullifying any security aspects of utilizing a foreign-flag carrier.

Bearing that in mind, I'm curiouis as to the circumstances that a foreign-flag outfit would be safer than a US Flag carrier.

It requires watching more carriers in order to find them. Hard to say how much of an effect that would have, though.
