It seems to me that if you have the guy running the show, laughing at the very people he is asking for help, then he really doesn't want their help! Anyone want to bet that Bronner has already decided to close the doors? Why else would he let himself be seen laughing about it, at the 11th hour?
And no, this is NOT a good move to make if looking to force someones hand, it just makes them MAD!
This is a good move however, if you want to insure that the doors get bolted!
