Beach Bash or Other Get Together Thread

US1YFARE,
is it true You'll be sporting your New gold plated thong at the bash. Rumor has it you look maarvelooous in it

Heavens no. I am a winter. Gold lamet anything doesn't look good on me. Besides, all of this food in FC on other carriers has caught up with me. I'll be wearing my weight watchers goal weight robe.

Right now I'm trying to figure out when spring breaks are being held so we don't overlap -- and considering midweek vs weekend.... and the pros & cons - weekends we'll get the senior mamas and midweek well get all the junior reserve types

Hmmm. Is that even a question? Let's see - you can have it on a weekend with old, boring, ugly senior mamas or have it midweek with young, hot, wild and crazy junior rsvs who still love to party! If you do go for the senior mama type here's one hot mama for ya!

lookin good there flightchic lol

LOL!

Just need to come up with a "sexually neutral" location :) Don't want to make it appear to cater ONLY to the boys (or those who like looking...)

and regarding the name tags, I meant to say we should just use screen names or none at all... Part of the fun could be guessing who everyone is :) I have been drinking today and well, um spelling and my grammar useage is not at its best

FC that's as funny as the BULL with the cheesesteak...I agree have it at the Lagoon mid-week...lotta sr mama's back on RSV for FEB...could be ugly...

I'd like to opt for the Junior Reserve types to work my dazzling flirting skills on ;) However I could opt for the PHX based Senior Mamas so I can be a cabana boy and get flight benefits...

Lets try to get a date written down in stone and a venue...I'll be providing some Southern Florida hospitality courtesy of US Airways and my "exotic" journey to far away lands w/ booze at cheap prices :)

On a side note...Costa Rica was MUY BIEN!

Can Otto get a buddy pass to the Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis? He's looking too yellowish for an "Americanski"

I could work a 16 hour shift and still party you under the table.

We'll see about that. :bleh: :bleh: :bleh:

Oh, that could be a lot of fun seeing all the senior mamas back on RSV. FWIW, all the f/as who have told me over the past several months that they are losing their blocks for February are actually some of the nicest and craziest flight attendants that I know. I hate it for them. What I would like to see however is someone like Cyndy Atkins lose her Paris block and be forced to sit reserve! That would totally make my day!

If you folks are serious there is a ton of work to be done in order to make it a memorable event. I did most but not all of the planning for roachFEST '04 aqnd it wasn't easy. Some pointers

Anytime in Feb is probably to soon. Look at Late March or April.

Next is Where? In a hub? Resort area? Enough capcity for everyone to fly in (Non-Rev or Buddy passes?)

When as in Weekend or weekday?

What kind of budget per person? $25, $50, $75? Cash bar? Open Bar?

Rent a hall, pay for catering?

Get the picture?

I did come up with a name or two for the event.

First Annual US Aviation Beef BBQ & Brain Fry

US Aviation Beach Blanket Bash

Now Piney, that might be too fancy for us US Airways folks. I was thinking more along the lines of having it at the Lagoon with $2 drafts. Anybody who shows up with missing teeth gets half-price coctails and extra Buffalo wings. For those who have to fly in and spend the night, they can share rooms which are only $43 dollars a night (unless the price increased). For our budget-conscious friends, there is a nice park where they can "camp" out for free.
