If I read the letter those dates were attached, It sounds like “The Association” is trying to get a feel on how we,
the membership would like to receive our share. I for one would like cash. I don’t feel like taking the risk on owning stocks.

Calling Lorenzi an AMT is a stretch at best.
TWU suck boy is more like it.

How do you think they should be distributed?

This from the APFA:
"The Claim will be allocated among eligible Flight Attendants on the basis of W-2 gross earnings (i.e. earnings before any deductions) from January 1, 2009 through August 31, 2012. Each individual Flight Attendant’s share of the Claim will be equal to her/his earnings over this time period divided by the earnings of all eligible Flight Attendants during the same period. APFA believes that this method of distribution is the fairest and most practical, and is consistent with what other unions have done in bankruptcy," the union said in a hotline message to members.

How likely is the TWU to follow suit?

I doubt it. Just because someone elected to work overtime and others elected to use their time off to spend with family's shouldn't mean they get a higher stake.

Anyone working on the property on the date of the Bankrutcy filing including those retired on or after that date. Amen

It should be based on 2080hrs
There should be a metric which gives those that gave more up in the bk to get more equity shares.
Retirees do not have to suffer the concessions as active EEs, they should not get equity.

Number of shares / Number of FT vs PT TWU members at the date of Bankrutcy X % of union dues = how much per TWU member

Good question...

Maybe they should base share distribution on industry average wages that way the groups at rock bottom in respect to the average will get more and those groups who enjoy top of the industry average wages will get less....!!

Or... Calculate how much Title I has lost in HALF SICK PAY over the past decade and add that to the Title I shares!!

Or... Those who enjoy 6 weeks vacation in their contract get less than those who only get 5!!

I don't know the fair and equitable way to allot the shares but if TWU history is any indicator M&R will get the short end of it!

Nothing personal...
