Another change for the A350

So far, Airbus has been able to convert only one customer, Finnair (ATWOnline, March 9), to the new XWB, while it has secured new orders from Aeroflot (ATWOnline, March 23) and Pegasus Aviation (ATWOnline, Jan. 5). SIA (20), China Aviation Supplies Import and Export Group (20) and TAP Portugal (10) have yet to confirm their orders, while US Airways appears to be leaning toward the aircraft (ATWOnline, May 17).

Great, US will be able to bum parts from Finnair and Aeroflot. :p
Look, I like Airbus planes, but think the old saying about "A bird in the" applies here. Maybe it's time for Boeing and US to let bygones be bygones and make deal for the 787.

Does Airbus have any clue about the A350? By the time this will be ready to fly, we may have Open Skies with China for about 15 years. Parker call 1-800-4BOEING.

It seems that Airbus has decided not to go with a fully composite fuselage after all.

There should be an announcement at the Paris air show this month for a decent size Boeing order.(I bet)

Wow - 13 a month by 2016. Guess Airbus wants to get 'em all built by 2016. :D

Wonder what the monthly 787 production rate will be by 2016? 80? 100? 130?
