What I don't understand is the amount of time some people on here spend waiting for somethng new to be posted, so they can moan about it.
If you don't like the company, then as a customer don't fly it; as an employee, look for work elsewhere. There are a lot of other things in the world besides this board and US Airways. Try them.
iBien Dicho! I agree with you. I know we all like to "wait for things to get better". But I don't think that they'll get better for a very long time, if at all. I know a lot of people (pilots/ flight attendants) are waiting for a joint contract in hopes that the working conditions will get better. And a lot of people are waiting for a potential merger (which can help us or make things worse). The point is, that if USAirways makes your life THAT miserable, you should look for another job that will make your life easier instead of harder. A lot of people will answer and say "I am not giving up my seniority..." but what is your seniority if you hate the world by being here? I'm not telling anyone that I think they should leave... just that nobody should have to feel like they are tied to a place that they don't like.
Not too long ago somebody said, "Is there not enough stuff going around in this company that someone has to start unfounded rumors." Oh wait, it was you! My how you have changed in just a few short posts.

Take a look at the October Inflight Newsletter. They address this very question:

Tell you what--when an announcement is made you can start another thread. Until then, NO more rumor threads giving supposed dates without solid evidence.
