Black Bear,
I am a commuter flight attendant and live in CHARLOTTE, NC. I personally spoke with Sam Mills today (one of the Panther coaches and a really great guy.) We can win this SuperBowl because we have talent and spirit. The Panthers have given the Carolina fans a lot of heart attacks this year. They seem to be able to come from behind a lot.
The Patriots are favored by 7; but we shall see. My money will be on the Panthers.
Terry
a proud Panther fan and season ticket holder
Terry,

I'll agree with you on a few things here.

The Panthers were NEVER expected to get this far, so there is not a LOT of pressure on them.

The Patriots "match up" BETTER against Philly, therefore they obviously would have prefered to play them.

It remains to be seen if Carolina(this year) were "overachievers", OR "overlooked" by the (so called) experts ?

SOOOO,
(Just like here at "dear ol' AA", time will tell.

These are good times for NC.

Panthers

Duke basketball(women) They "SHOCKED" our local UCONN women

DEMOCRATIC US Senator John Edwards. (IMHO, with John Kerry(president) + John Edwards(vice-president), together they would have a slightly better than 50-50 chance of sending "DUMBYA" to the unemployment office !!!!!!!!!!

And the "3 STOOGES",-Darrah-Little-Ward run IMMEDIATELY to HDQ, at AA's first "beck and call",

Instead of telling Arpey, "GO F*** Y*** SELF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm heading to my nearest Library to see if the words DIGNITY, and SELF RESPECT have been ommited from english language dictionarys.

You're spot-on! No self-respecting union would support good customer service. Would they?

The LAST thing that DUMBYA, Karl Rove and the rest of the #### HEADS in the bush white house wanted to see was a SOUTHERNER named John Edwards making ANY kind of progress in the Democratic primarys.

Hypothetically, if DUMBYA carried all the "red" states again this year, MINUS NC.(Edwards), guess what?............................. The little TURD loses.

Plus, the "get out the vote " effort in Florida will be MASSIVE, with the FEDS watching VERY close.

I don't know if DUMBYA realizes it or not, but he just gave his "LAST" state of the union address

Maybe, but it looks an awful lot like early 1984 to me . . .

Look for a GWB landslide victory in November. B)

I have to disagree with you on this one. The democratic field is a little too left for the core of this nation. Kerry and Dean subscribe to the philosophy of PEACE AT ANY COST! You do remember Jimmy Carter! Please don't make the mistake that the Democratic party is automatically the friend of the union man and worker in general. It's all about big business!

Just keep in mind, the Milosevic did not attack the United States, but Bill Clinton sent the troops in without any UN resolution. General Clark prosecuted that war!
By the way, there is still a presence of US troops in that arena!

Hopeful,
I hear you on the "friend to the union man part".

But consider this.
5 GOP appointed SC justices put this A$$ HOLE in the white house, after he lost the popular vote.

A ticket of Kerry and Edwards, Gephardt, OR Bob Graham(to assure a Florida victory), is a Stronger ticket than Gore and Joe L. was.

Though they'll NEVER admit it on here, I can see a LOT of republican viet-nam vets, across the country, while in the privacy of the voting booth, pulling the "D" lever, just "once for ol' time sake".

The vision of the soldier from Oregon(a long time republican), who Kerry rescued, under heavy fire, is going to resonate with a ton of vets.

Of all the candidates running, the LAST one DUMBYA wants to be standing 10 feet from, during the 3 debates, is John Kerry.

The tricky part for JK, is to select a VP like Edwards(who can win in the south), or Graham, who can deliver Florida.

Hopeful,
I feel cautiously optimistic on this one !!!!!!!
