American Airlines, Labor Leaders To Meet.

MCI, does that mean you have lost the 737's? I am guessing that is what you were driving at.
Garfield: the 73s are coming to TUL, and soon, should be by mar, the letter going around the base says the 1st quarter, but I figure the co. will start accepting xfers real soon.
The way I understand it, we will have 2 737 lines, probably on 1A-1B Docks, while the TW MD80s on 3B dock will be going back to MCI.

A/C Fixer,

He is a DELETED BY MODERATOR and doesn't understand anything except how to "Screw" Flight Attendants.

I was referring to MCI, he mentioned that they were selling 737 hats for a discount and I assumed that he was implying that they were loosing work on 737's to another base. From what you are saying that would mean Tulsa. I am guessing that is what he meant anyway.

Deleted? By whom? Why am I still here? As I recall, you were the one the moderator asked me if I wanted deleted for threatening to reveal my identity.

<_< Garfield------That's right! In a.a.'s infenit wisdom, they have dicided to move the 737, both heavy, and light checks to Tulsa! No real surprise! Can't have the redheaded stepchildren playing with the future mainstrem of the a.a. fleet! No matter how good they are!!!!!! Maybe I'm a biter old man, but could this be just another step closer to getting rid of all us ol farts? Time will tell!!!! Signed:" Just another redheaded stepchild!"

You can also thank the TWU for how the TWAers were treated. More the reason for MCI to have 100% AMFA cards signed. Yes, maybe AMFA won't make a difference, but what a nice way to say "thank you" to the TWU. And the added benefit will be an added "thank you" to AA who would lose their pet union.

And quickly, before you all start hitting the pension plan and everyone finds out that there's not enough sauce to cover the pasta!

And make Arpey's Golden Parachute bigger? No, thanks!
See, just a little bit of thought and it all made sense. And I am not even part of a union.

How does that saying go. "Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove al doubt".

More flame and ignorance. Just what we have learned to expect from this poster.

The TWAers did not begin their participation in the American Airlines pension plan until January 2002. Their retirement benefits from that system will based only on their contributions since two years ago (for those who are "lucky" enough to have lasted that long). So far, the average earned benefit is well under $1,000 per YEAR. Hardly enough to affect the integrity of the fund.

For your information, those who are lucky enough to be able to afford to retire on greatly reduced benefits will be paid the bulk of their retirement by the PBGC (the federal agency which guarantees pension systems) and their 401k programs.

TWAnr--- Thank you for enlightening the natives!!!!! As is typical they just don't have a clue! And really don't give a damn! Signed: "You know how!"

Black Bear,
I am a commuter flight attendant and live in CHARLOTTE, NC. I personally spoke with Sam Mills today (one of the Panther coaches and a really great guy.) We can win this SuperBowl because we have talent and spirit. The Panthers have given the Carolina fans a lot of heart attacks this year. They seem to be able to come from behind a lot.
The Patriots are favored by 7; but we shall see. My money will be on the Panthers.
Terry
a proud Panther fan and season ticket holder
