Hmm That's funny I make $24.77 an hour after eighteen years with this Airline.
They didn't get our #'s right!!!!!!

And I will agree with USA320PILOT We had some room to negociate something more than they stole from us had the IAM not taken the position they did.Gerry Glass and his boys made a point with their final offer,and I feel it every time I sit down.Lets see how AMFA fairs at Northwest......

The person that put together the numbers on the mechanics pay graph evidently forgot [or doesn't know] that a mechanic working in the hangars only gets paid for 1 license, [Even if he holds Both the Airframe & Powerplant licenses]..

This explains the difference between what the paper printed and what a hangar mechanic actually makes..

Subtract from that $24 and change all the other un-perks (High co-pays, uniform costs, lost holidays, commuting costs, etc., etc, etc), and you got a job that,s real value is way less $20. Sorry for any A+P that thinks their that worthless! After five years out of the airlines I still can't believe what I'm seeing! Oh well, the ride was good while it lasted
