Cute...but I would hardly call it "top news" as billed at the top of the page.
I'm not sure why what is happening in the airline industry is so surprising when many Americans run their personal finances the way airlines are running their businesses - heaviliy in debt and with much greater "expenses" than "revenue". AIrlines have always been razor thin margin businesses, even when they were regulated. Nothing has changed dramatically since. Maybe someone will devise a business plan that will work for a network carrier long-term but I'm not holding my breath. If there's any consolation, no transportation business every makes much money - it's not just airlines.
