Aircraft maint issues

I feel we should receive 20% of our gross income for profit sharing. Doug said that since he has taken over AA the company made 9.5 billion before taxes .

Can I also get a 5% per year wage jump on top of that 20% man?

Well that certainly explains why the IAM doesn't help in the TWU protest, they keep the stuff separate their holidays, their health care, that also answers why the IAM or TWU will help, keep AMFA out.

Well another week of negotiations has come and gone with no progress being made. The company is still arguing crew chief selection methods - in other words, the company liars are stalling with crap like this. Also heard equity money should be distributed by Dec 1, 2017. Problem is the IRS wants 7 million, and the union is trying to find a company to distribute the money using the same formula as the last payout, evidently, AA is telling the TWU to go pound sand on helping with the distribution process. Make no mistake about this, AA hates these particular represented groups. Remember this next time your supervisor or manager needs your help to move or fix a plane.

Sorry to hear that Vortilon. Were in a holding pattern ourselves. No meetings set for nego's until someone is ready to move (this is what the mediators told both sides) next avail dates mediators are available for are late Nov or Dec. Union is stating they dine moving as they have been the only ones moving to meet some of the company's wishes. Even the mediators said we would be crazy if we went into Med-Arb with nothing settled on scope yet. She also said that all the items left open are the unions ask and that would be suicidal as well, so until the company decides to move, we sit and wait, were better off keeping the contract we have anyway. Good luck Vortilon, I hope your NC brings you guys back an ILC.

And BTW the TWU has the same group as last time to distribute already paid. They're called "The Labor Group" and you can look at their payment on the International LM2. So not sure what you're talking about here?

I think it simply comes to this, a mediator will not take sides, that can get them in trouble as a federal mediator, they try to bring both sides together. There is something called a gag law the mediator can't tell you, would get screwed in federal mediation, so I know that is crap. They basically SWA does not fear this maintenance group, so we sit, see who blinks first

Now I know you are full of crap Swamt Federal mediators are governed by Federal law the mediation is your process, they are not allowed to take sides or tell you are getting screwed, if AMFA is telling the guys that, and claiming that, is against Federal law and She the mediator would be in deep ****. Nice try Swamt !

Same old bs from the association and company. Stop wasting the membership money. We will get a contract when Doug wants us to have one. The negotiationing committee can go to the table for another year, but they still won’t get any further then where they are now! The association is a joke. GED against Phd’s

I SEE your situation is not much different than SWA the road shows same info for the last 2 years, this is where we are at. Same tactics both companies, both unions American & SWA, Association& AMFA, I don't look for anything, maybe next year, maybe.
