AA120 Last Night (JFK-CDG) 5 hr late-apparently returned to gate

NYC is seeing severe weather that it normally doesn't... but it is still true that other carriers' operations have not been as affected as AA's in bad weather over the last few months....

To those who actually answered the question, thanks very much. I know all flights were affected by weather as I said, but most left within 45 min to 2 hrs of scheduled departure. It was in fact a wicked night....

I can read METARs just fine, thanks. They don't add the piece of the puzzle which is the eastbound tracks.

Here's the missing peiece THUNDERSTORMS. that means when it came back the guys could not work it till the storms cleared.

The days of being heroes are long gone.
