AA/US continuation of good trend

Its all BS, AA will come out of Chapter 11 on their own, no one wants to dance with US, US still hasnt completed a merger that was 6 years ago.

Agreed and from a pilot perspective I think we make as much noise as possible in not supporting a merger unless they take care of us.

Delta was very effective in stopping the us DL deal

My mistake.
Interesting Article

Watching from outside the box...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Judging from your your other comments I am sure you must be happy with alternative plans of reorganization by TPG and Delta. I am sure you would agree that AMR must be split up in chunks. To have AA merge with US and save employee jobs and service would surely be a travesty, Don't you agree?
Yes.

You're wrong about the raise then - "all" PI employees didn't get a "nice raise"...

Jim
Ok a lot of us Ground employees did. US even gave the former Empire Ground Workers their seniority back who were not unionized.

The biggest jump in pay for the F/S group was for those on the lower level B scale. For those of us who were already topped out at PI, it was less than a $1 per hour raise. In the long run we lost everything that we got, and then some............

He means all the mechanics USAir hired to push back Piedmont airplanes got raises.
I'd much sooner get pushed from an actual mechanic that the whack-jobs in PHX. Except for one who suggested we do our checks in the alley in order to block as many as three west push-backs. Heh, heh. I thought it was pretty funny. Per the captain, we did, to screaming all around. Funny, hearing pilots cry on the radio. No wonder Mr. Parker disrespects pilots, look at the pilots with which he has experience.

Well that is your groups own fault for not unionizing till 1995.
Really?? Are you that clueless? We lost more AFTER the IAM became our union than we ever did before. I guess that having a Union has done wonders for us given that we make now is in line with 1995. Not bad at all having stagnant wages for 16 years. Not even the 2008 T/A brought us in line with where we were prior to the 2 BK's. Based on what I'm hearing about the current negotiations, it Ain't lookin' much better this time around. Yea, it's all our fault...........

If you didnt have a union and a CBA, you wouldnt be working at all, they would have outsourced the ramp in a heartbeat at 95% of the system.
