At one time the word union stood for quality pay and benifits. The twu has degraded the word to meaning we will sacrifice pay and benefits for jobs. Check again, they got equity and some sort of a payment to help make up for losing the pension in BK. They only came out of BK in 2005, so I don't know where you are getting 8 years from plus they kept their vacation, thats 62 cents an hour, plus they kept 10 Holidays at Doubletime, that adds up another 100 hrs (if on 4/10s) vs our 20 hours for working all the Holidays. The 80 hour advantage adds another $1.25 to their wages. They also kept Doubletime, OT for training and other things we lost. So with just the Holiday Pay and the vacation that adds $1.92 an hour to their wage in BK.
