AA Gates Up For Grabs

The new terminal at Love Field will have 20 gates, with Southwest Airlines Co. the primary tenant with 16 gates. ExpressJet Inc. holds rights to two gates, with American Airlines Inc. holding the last two gates.
In settling an antitrust lawsuit with the U.S. Department of Justice, American agreed to give up its two Love Field gates. Both Delta and Southwest have said they want the gates, with other airlines considering requests.
