AA flight attendant fills in for sick FO for landing at ORD

Sure it is, That work should have been proffered to the next available pilot n seniority order. I am sure they made no effort to call the next person in line. Amazing this airline has no respect for seniority and job classification.

Anyone know how they got this video posted so quickly? AA is usually quite good at keeping these things out of the public eye.FA taking control of AC

Please enlighten us on how this is a grievance?

Oh, lighten up already.... it was sarcasm for the sense-of-humor-challenged...

Obviously, as she wasn't a pilot on the APA seniority list, therefore a violation of scope.

On second thought, maybe she should be demanding 767 FO pay for the landing.

Its only a scope violation if the company scheduled her to fly the plane, there is no grievance.

"I felt terrible for the first officer,'' she went on. "But I was so excited. It was way more fun than serving meals from the galley.''
Great to see that she wears her APFA pin and Red Disk !!! I noticed it during her interview on TV.
