They probably don't work here or no much about our company, go easy on them
I have been in the industry for 9 years and at U for 6....How about yourself?

It Was A good Post Don't Let other Moron's Dicourage you From Asking ?'s They Them Self's are Afraid to ask. MWW
Thanks. I was always taught "that no question is stupid. If you don't ask how will you ever learn?"

I wonder, is there a potential market for US to get some 767-400 or 300 or even get new A-330s to replace the A-350?

I am a f/a and I dont fly the plane nor know about the length of the runways in all of the world to know how many airports U can take it. I dont study a subject before starting a thread. Good lord..it was a simple question. Why does it have to be so darn technical of an answer? Noone has to be so rude when someone is just asking a question and make them feel like they are stupid or something for asking.

You know this question is actually pretty good if you are someone that sees beyond their nose and think outside the box. What the Europeans are doing is actually being very forward in their thinking. Just because that's how we do it here, doesn't mean squat! Why should ANY airline fly 35 flights a day EACH between LAX and SFO when you could do the same thing with 10 flights. Saving fuel, the enviroment, noise, and air traffic congestion. Please spare me the businees traveller demands it routine. It's the airlines that trained the passengers to expect a flight every 15 mintues to their destination. Crandle even admited some time ago that really we don't need a flight every 1/2 hour between LGA and ORD. So before anyone jumps on the bandwagon and starts beating up on this poster, maybe they should think beyond what's traditionally done today.

If A350 is dead then please switch to Boeing 777-200ER, 777-300ER, Boeing 787 series and Boeing 737-900ER (narrowbody aircraft).

I'm a fan of Boeing 787......

A380 is not good idea for US Airways because of cost too much money for heavy fuel and maintenance expenses.

I'm waiting to hear what's new A370 development and what it looks a like new concept photo.

I'm sorry, but as a frequent business traveler, the thought of going bigger and bigger with AC makes me think of the Titanic. At what point is enough, enough. I'm not sure if the A380 will have a great impact or not, I'm not qualified to answer such a question. But I have a hard time beleiving the A380 is the way of the future.

The A380 is an impressive flying machine. However, wait until one of these bohemoths goes down. Anyone remember Tenerife? It won't be pretty. Right now, there are only twelve airports in the U.S. planned for the A380.

25 here and 31 in the industry, I still say its a lousy choice for OUR company.

N109UW,

We shouldn't give up when we face setbacks. I don't see where the 747 was abandoned due to Tenerife. The space shuttle is still flying. We have to take risks and chances if we want to advance.

Last time I checked, the A350 was getting a major redesign, not being cancelled altogether. As far as the A380 goes, I can't see any of the majors ordering it for the next 5 years, let alone US thinking about it. As far as this plane being shuttle capable between two cities, this plane has not been optimized for short operations. What a nightmare that would be.
