9 News This Am

ual_tech,

United is just trying to catch up is all. There is plenty of Mexico business for everyone serving Denver. It won't hurt F9's bottom line any! The next few months are the slowest for every airline, so your flights will be no fuller than any F9 flight to Mexico. And just heard the news that UAL is going to furlough another 6K folks  OUCH. Just wait till they start asking for more concessions B) . We aren't facing any of that at F9, this Thanksgiving and Christmas season will put F9 BACK IN BLACK  . And this next spring we'll probably get ANOTHER profit sharing CHECK.

I figure the first furloughs United will go after will be more mechanics, since they want to continue to get out of the maintenance business. Probably shutting down the hangar in Denver I suspect since they are still going to be held accountable for ALL their Denver lease agreements.

Mr. Fish,

You truly don’t understand the importance of the Denver Hub in regards to UAL.

Think ‘Flight Simulators’!!!

Got it?

UAL_TECH

FLIGHT SIMS have nothing to do with the operation of UAL's Denver operation. What does it have to do with the leases that UAL owes the city of Denver? Which the BK judge has up held the decision that UniTED is liable to pay those leases to the city. They have appealed, but will probably loose that one. When they do I see UAL dumping the hangar in Denver to save cash and furloughing more maintenance personnel. Don't really need a hangar for RON maintenance; we didn't have on in LAX. We did everything on the ramp rain or shine. It’s a fast easy dump for UniTED, the Flight Sims will remain here no matter what they do to the operations in Denver. If any of the main hubs are reduced you can bet Denver will be on the top of the list.

Mr. Fish

ROTFLMAO...........

Keep believing that. 😛

UAL_TECH,

You could have your flight sims in BUM F&*$ED Egypt what's the point????

Mr. Fish,

You have certainly knocked yourself down a notch in your understanding of the internal politics of UAL.

Just keep repeating :

‘Flight Simulators means nothing to UAL’!

Tapping you heals and chanting ‘I want to go home!’ might help also!!!

ROTFLMAO,
😛 UT

UAL_TECH,

You have still not explained what the signifcants of the flight sims has to do with the Denver operations. They have been here forever and still will be even after the downsizing of the UAL OPS here. AGAIN, WHATS YOUR POINT?

UAL Tech,

Not flaming, just curious.

What makes the Sims so important? They could be placed in ORD or anywhere UAL has service for that matter.

And no, I know nothing of internal politics in UA.

UAL Tech,

I'm not "flaming" you either, but "sims", or no "sims", with the very unfortunate state that UA is in, common sense would dictate that "IF" it comes down to a reduction in maintainence(hangers), that DEN(assuming that there were only 3), would go "bye-bye", in a "New York minute", BEFORE ORD and SFO.

NH/BB's,

If one would ‘only’ consider maintenance as the predominate factor in remaining in Denver, it would not factor heavily into the decision to keep a hub and/or maintenance.

JMHO,
The maintenance operation and 'hub' status is ancillary to the importance of the presence of the simulators. We just can't 'pick up and move' the simulators (without costing a fortune) so Denver will continue to be one of the important hubs that ‘has been’ and ‘will be’ protected.

Think about it!

Take Care,

UAL_TECH,

And what do you think the repercussions will be when UniTED loses the appeal for the money they owe Denver on the leases? Which when they tried to get it dumped in the BK court was around 75M for the gates and hangar. Push comes to shove you can bet beyond a shadow of a doubt that UAL would downsize in Denver way before they would at any of their other hubs. It will be interesting when UAL is denied getting out of the Denver leases. Your sims might stay here, but that hangar and some down sizing will probably happen when they are told to pay to stay in Denver!!!

MrFish,

We are kicking your ass out 'again' even in BK.
And where did Ted spearhead, and why?

B) UT

FORGOT UAL_TECH,

And if you think the city of Denver really cares about whats up at UAL, you better think again. I am sure that they are working on contigency plans everyday for a DENVER without UniTED Air Lines. They are about as tired of UAL managements crap as the US Government was. SO UAL won't be seeing any hand outs from the city of DENVER. You might be the biggest here, but your still not considered the best by any means.

FRONTIER! Denvers home town air line

UAL_TECH,

UniTED has tried to put Frontier out of business for 10 years they are still here, keeping the customers happy. They LOVE us here in DENVER and everywhere else we fly! You still haven't addressed my post as to the money UAL will have to pay the city of Denver. Your not getting out of that one, they want to, but after the BK judge said they had to pay the appeal will more than likely be struck down. THEN WHAT TECH? In this next round of lay-offs were are you falling into that pack. You must be on graves, surfing the net on company time. That's real productivity LOL

Mr. Fish,

For the 3rd time? (or is it fourth??)
How many times can you assholes go to BK and morph yourselves into a new 'FRONTIER'?

Last time we bought your 727's, we spent more money cleaning the carpet than you spent on a years maintenance.

Impress me!

JMHO,
B) UT

I don't have to impress YOU TECH, you do that well enough on YOUR OWN B) . WHO has even hinted that F9 is EVEN ANYWHERE close the mess your company is in? The media hasn't ever put that kind of news out yet. They have NEVER posted that UAL is bankrupting F9. WE have a lose for the 2Q and it's all due to UAL and TED(AKA UNITED SHUTTLE)? Read the financials again We are just suppose to beleive that because you say SOOOOO? After your laid off, you can put an APP in here OK. We got our second round of C-checks starting on the Airbuses. And you if your in Denver you probably won't even have to move your tool box, because we'll be moving into that HANGAR

Get back to WORK!!!!
