I find it ironic that EVERY non-employee has the answers for U-S Airways' internal problems when they haven't a clue as to just how poorly the company is managed.
TMTTQ you hit it on the head with your description of the interdepartmental silos that keeps everything so inefficient. Management tells only enough to the higher-ups to keep them out of trouble

Outsiders will NEVER understand the myriad of contributing factors that has UAIR in a flat-spin........thats an unrecoverable situation for all you non tech types. And I never expect you to either. However, it would be greatly appreciated if you folks would stop trying to discount everything being told by those in the know; bold enough to do so.
