Any of you other posters seeing ads in the Capt. Aux links?

Just a guess but I think ole' Capt. Aux played you idiots once again!

Well here's another nickel for the attention starved lad's tin cup.

Btw, the boy is stark raving nuts.

Naw, not really, what has hurt was the scab union, which charged the highest dues in the industry so that busdrivers could lose $1/2 million each and 170 days of vacation, only to find out that the scab union was guilty of a DFR violation, and it was all for naught!!!

Oh, and the guilty organization is about to give AOL $5.5 million (i.e. all they have left) while the east merger committee has its hand out and nobody coughing up any cash.

Have had quite a few east jump seat riders over the past 10 years.  Never talked to them about shop til they brought it up first, and what every one of them said was the scab union was costing them a fortune and a cross country commute, a huge hit in lifestyle and they would never get it back.  I would always just reply.....yep!  No reason to remind them that I was making $40k more a year with 31 days vacation for the same job...you know salt in the wound and all that!!
The usual NoNicFor9 years fairy tales. Just like your phony bellman stories. Fitting you showed up on the EXACT day 9 years ago when your lottery ticket floated into the street, then you walked out to pick it up and got hit by a bus.

We know that the only one who told you that was our favorite no-balls San Diego commuter.  The one who parlayed a PSA date of hire from an MD-80 right seat to an A330 left seat, then turned around and told his hard working F/Os that they should just accept a permanent back-of-the-pack slot from Pollock's alpa cronies.

He was one of a kind and is not missed around here.  Total dip****.

Is this the one who took a leak on the 330 cockpit door? It still stinks after a month.
A supposed "pilot" willfully taking a "selfie" while "heroically" sitting in a frikkin' aircraft lav?

"Hi Mom!...Here I am sitting on an aircraft toilet"...I really can't...well...umm...words just fail me sometimes.

Seriously though: "That boy just ain't right in tha' head."

"Never talked to them about shop til they brought it up first, ....." Thanks for the usual chuckles, as if you could even help yourself to ever do otherwise. ;) Seriously; just what kind of fully delusional little world do you really "live" in? Hint: It's not a universally shared mental illness.

"Any of you other posters seeing ads in the Capt. Aux links?" Gasp!...That clever little minx! If site traffic expands exponentially, well...within a century or so, well again, who knows what vast wealth we could be talking about there? ;)

Hey, if "he's" gaining commercial value from playing the local village idiot, well "good" for "him", I suppose. You "spartan soldiers/knights/dire wolves" all must be so truly proud, but really; it's been far better done by actually talented people in the past:

"This is Sparta!"...So don't neglect the daily training regimen to keep yourselves "silly"....

Since you're BFFs with our favorite no-balls captain, have you checked out his inane personal blog yet, the one with "cool" airplane pictures?

My PSA buddies said he was a total embarrassment.

Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes Cap'n Aux.

Words do indeed fail.

"My PSA buddies said he was a total embarrassment."...Indeed so. Don't even get me started there....Long ago PSA was a fine little flying club, albeit heavily leaned towards the "squid" side of the fence. I still think I must've gotten some "secret waiver" to be hired as a USAF sort. ;) No harm/No foul there, since training was held so close to Miramar that "disturbing the peace" of the O' Club there was virtually a mandatory excercise for anyone still flying reserves/guard/whatever. The first instructor/examiner I was first privileged to fly with at PSA was an ex Blue Angel with with dead Migs to his credit, who needed serious conversational provocation to even ever get him to talk about. A very fine bunch of fellows overall...and, so many years later, things have so sadly degenerated that we wonderfully now have self-styled "spartans"/"knights" and even "dire wolves" to deal with instead...not to mention the utterly pathetic little "cap'n aux" kids to boot.

When shortly done: I'll miss the true Honor and privilege it's been to fly with so many amazingly wonderful people and actual Pilots over the years, but hardly anything else. The environment just ain't the same as it once was, and I've zero use for the "cap'n aux"/worthlessly narcissistic nic4us/"spartan" sorts of little kiddies...they in fact make me want to throw up. No matter really. I've been flying for over half a century and plan to continue doing so so long as it's possible...but just for fun in the future. I'll never forget a 60's interview in Flying magazine with Oberst Erich Hartmann. The concluding paragraph offered him the question: "Sir, what plane would you like to fly now?" Hartmann's unexpected response, but now I find fully understandable?...."I'd really like to fly a Breezy" ;)

P.S. Mistake none of that for "whining" of any kind. I was incredibly lucky to have experienced what I have in the sky and the people that went with it and made it so memorable and more than "enough" comrades from "baby bird school" days are long since dead from enemy action/accidents/just-plain-bad-luck/etc...but I sure couldn't suggest to any young person these days that they "follow" because the path we "ancients" walked no longer even exists for them.

Words do fail there...Honestly; I've nothing that could even begin to properly address the whole "cap'n aux" thing outside of purely clinical terminology.

I have met the pilot you describe, he never rode with me, I met him in line for food in PHX.  I have a ton of respect for him, as it takes real "balls" to stand up in a room full of scab union supporters and tell the current scab union VP he is an idiot, and his union is a farce.

There were 500 east pilots who voted for ALPA and against the scab union,  9 of which rode with me up front and bad mouthed uscaba.  One was indeed a PHL-SAN commuter, 2 where DCA-PHX, 2 CLT-PHX, 1 PHL-PHX, 1 PHL-SEA (senior 330 guy) 1 PIT-CLT and 1 CLT-DEN.
