Westholes are ecstatic that they "destroyed USAPA," (a union that the East knew was on the way out anyway.)

Ordnance delivered on target has always been definably expendable by it's very nature.

American Airlines pilots say the “toxic culture” between management and employees at the Fort Worth-based carrier is returning.

In a letter sent to American chief executive Doug Parker over the weekend, the pilots union outlined several issues, such as crew scheduling and payroll problems, that are contributing to poor labor relations.

The Allied Pilots Association, which backed the Parker-led merger of US Airways and American Airlines, said managers at the airline are “clinging to their old ways” while putting out a product that is inferior to Delta Air Lines.

APA LETTER TO CEO DOUG PARKER

“The new American Airlines product is outright embarrassing and we’re tired of apologizing to our passengers,” the letter said. “The often-repeated excuse that ‘we need more time’ won’t cut it. Our pilots and passengers deserve better.”

American spokesman Casey Norton said the airline is two years into a five-year integration process that includes $3.5 billion in investments in wages and benefits for employees and $3 billion in customer service products.

After they realized we were quite happy with our ethical position, they became a good deal more tractable. Ansett security showed up. I suppose they figured we were going to be boiled in a pot. The crowd had dwindled to only ten folks so I told the security rep that I really didnt need any help, although it was nice of him to ask. He smiled, shrugged his shoulders and walked back around the building.

In a few minutes the crowd had dwindled to three, and Milliken walked out into the alley with Carlson inviting us in for some beers and spaghetti. Back at Millikens we all had a nice dinner party followed by a group picture. We held up their sign saying, Yank Pilots Go Home!, with one of the Federation pilots holding a carving knife against Millikens throat. A comment was made that this picture should probably be enlarged and sent to Conway with a caption, Security Down Here Sucks!

Reference west pilot constant Comments about ethics. The scabs have taught the new generation that anyone who does not give in to their demands is unethical. They claimed their Ansett foray was ethical.

Should be no suprise, the APA has had a taste of these west kids and their sense of entitlement...........that C and R board says it all, the last PHX letter did not resonate to well with them.

The kindest possible summary of the latest west nonsense amounts to "Waaah! We're just so badly abused, even after we eagerly licked management's shoe soles and sold out our "Brothers and Sisters" as best we could to help gain an injunction against the whole pilot group. Heck; we're even on company video directly asking the CEO if we "should turn in" east pilots taxiing on both engines! You would think we'd at least get a puppy treat tossed to us for that. Why can't the whole world see just how truly 'special' and fully 'deserving' we really are?...Waah!" Nothing new to see there. The term "Useful Idiots" always comes to mind with these sad sorts...

100 percent of the west pilots want the nic.  (Will never happen.)

100 percent of the East pilots are against it.

Bada Bing, Bada Boom!

Say what, better not let flounder here that, he says you're wrong! Final and binding he Luvs to say.....

By the way, PI Brat doing an excellent job on C&R.
The west campaign of talking points is a total fail.LAA employees now realizing the have walked into Team Tempe swamp.
Going for Great is specifically to be viewed in the context of upper mgt. compensation.
american west airlines should be painted on the jets. Passengers would then realize who they are on and adjust their expectations. Conway and Beauvais left the operating plan in Scooters desk when they left the building.

Isn't it that time when that gasbag CB53 comes on and starts the misinformation train?

Dear Doug:

I'm writing to express my complete and utter disappointment with
today's announcement that Captain Sullenberger will be appointed to a
management position within the company. In fact, as a result of Capt.
Sullenberger's decision to use his new found fame as a weapon against
1800 former America West pilots in a recent federal court case over
pilot seniority, I find the company's announcement particularly
insulting. Not only does this decision now forever discredit the
company's purported "neutrality" in the pilot seniority issue, but it
also calls in to question the credibility of the entire safety
management team. As I hope you'll agree, it is in everybody's best
interests to keep flight safety an issue that is far removed from
politics.

I can respect that Capt. Sullenberger has his own personal opinions
regarding the seniority situation, however, I believe that his
decision to testify in court raises reasonable question as to his
ability to adequately perform his new duties without bias. Capt.
Sullenberger did not provide any relevant testimony in the case, and
was only called to testify by USAPA in the hopes that his celebrity
status would unfairly influence a jury. Instead of limiting the use
his celebrity status in support of productive goals such as promoting
aviation safety and the image of US Airways, he blatantly abused that
status by unnecessarily inserting himself on the losing side of an
issue that he played no prior role in. I cannot be reasonably assured
that he would not similarly misuse his position in management.

While I'm certain that this letter will fall on deaf ears, I can
assure you that this letter by no means an end to this issue, and that
you will be in need of much more than a well polished statement at a
crew news session to address it.

Sincerely,
/s/
Mitch Vasin
