You're the most....umm...."pathetic" ;) ;) loser I've ever encountered.  .......you....umm.. "verbose"....aszhole....

P.P.S. Given all that as naturally an unquestionable, "spartan" certainty; any chance of your accepting the wager? PM if interested. Who knows?...Perhaps "you'se" could teach me a thing or two, and show me just why I should respect your "new breed" of "pilot"...?...Or is it best we just stick with "Waah!...I want my mommy!...Or at least my lawyer!"...?

I've a long posted (for seven years now), open wager that fully invites "you'se" pathetic likes to literally show the whole world, on video, both your inestimable "intelligence" and flying "skills" in actual "action"...."cap'n keyboard". A codicile of the wager acceptance would require allowing after "action" video posting to whatever internet venues the victor deems appropriate.  The only "certifiable" part would be with signing the needed documents to agree to the wager conditions and equally agreeably, disperse wagered funds afterwards. PM if ever in posession of a magically newborn spine or "mind"....What's stopping "you'se"? Why would I want to even wipe my shoes off on "you'se" otherwise?..Only laughably supposed "Pilot"? ;)

"East US has visions/delusions of grandeur. Probably in the bottom of a shot glass. Both are certifiable  " Demonstrate my delusional failings for the world to see. I'm momentarily bored, or I'd not be on this thread fishing for "spartans". You are cordially invited to show literally the whole world the presumed validity of your childish fantasies. What's your problem with that kid?..."Waah!...I want my mommy!...Or at least my lawyer!"...Mighty "Pilot"? :)

Again...Grow up.

That's your best response?...Seriously? Call me crazy here, but somehow, I'm just not able to be at all impressed with this "new breed" of..umm..."pilot". Although first offered in hopes of provoking a wagered response, well, perhaps "Waah!...I want my mommy!...Or at least my lawyer!" really wasn't so far off after all.
Eastus1.  Still going through life fat, drunk and stupid.

Be gentle there! The still going through life's a remarkable thing indeed. Per "fat, drunk and stupid"?...Well, I'd never dare dream of even attempting to match any of AWA's world class "spartans" in athletic accomplishments, a breathalyzer for "you'se" to take is unfortunately impossible over the internet, and per stupid?...Well, your finely crafted prose pretty much speaks for it's self, although "you'se" earlier admitted failure to even qualify for admission to medical school serves to support as well. Perhaps you should reapply as a self-donated specimen for study?

Grow up.

So what is an average job tax deduction for a domestic airline pilot, 14K, 16K, more, less?

"It depends". Too many details needed for a thumbnail average. Is commuting/a seperate residence involved? Was even a computer purchased for communication with the company/catcrew/etc, etc? Go with an established accountant used to dealing with flightcrew issues would be my best "lazy dog" suggestion. For what littile it's worth in general though; I doubt you would ever raise any untoward audit flags with a 10-12 range of job expensed deductions, but you might well be entitled to considerably more than that.

I had a United jumpseater the other day. Arms all tatted up. Could you imagine the horror if he took the other Jumpseat on his way home? He probably would not made it to the bar in the terminal to ease the pain.

Are you illiterate, or just stupid?  That's not what nevergiveup said.

We could have stayed in ALPA and still avoided the Nic, simply by refusing to ratify a contract.  That was the point of the post.
Hey smarta$$, I know exactly what he said. I ask again, if you would pay attention, why did you go through the trouble of forming an association to evade the arbitration when you could have done it by having the numbers to not ratifying a contract with ALPA? All you did was form U-stupid and still had no contract to ratify. All it did was cause the dues to go up and all you could show for it was LOA 93 bankruptcy wages.

Higher dues and LOA 93. Bravo

And lonely.

The guy thinks Westies play Xbox, yet the 60-something year old man spends hours a day playing with his lap---top.

ALPA had done so poorly in the past, that it was indeed time for a change. Too bad they(USAPA) were unable to get a contract that would satisfy the majority of the group and implement the NIC. Not to worry as now we have APA. I believe you can still be a member of ALPA if you wish....they have a magazine!

west pilots try and put non furloughed east pilot with west new hire. Cheater.
Busted by Bradford.
Company investigates themselves. Leonidas conspirators allowed off hook. Any other company would have fired inside hackers.
Cheat.
Revisionist history. Read the arbitration and educate yourself. You presented argument and we presented arguments.

In the Matter of the Seniority Integration of
The Pilots of US Airways, Inc.
and
The Pilots of America West Airlines, Inc.

The ALPA Arbitration Board

George Nicolau, Chairman
Captain Stephen Gillen, Pilot Neutral
Captain James P. Brucia, Pilot Neutral

" Before discussing the aforesaid approaches in greater detail,
some uncontroverted facts and then some recent history. US Airways is
the product of a series of mergers stretching back to 1968. At the time
of the US Air/America West merger, US Airways had a grand total of
5098 pilots on its seniority list, 1691 of which (33%) were on furlough.'

"Though America West pilots can therefore expect some gain
from factors US Airways brought to the merger, this by no means
justifies the proposal on which US Airways insists. As previously
stated, giving sole consideration to date of hire and length of service
would put the senior America West pilot some 900 to 1100 numbers
down the combined list."

"US Airways proposed restrictions, both as to
aircraft and length, would unduly deprive too many senior America
West pilots of upgrade opportunities for too long a time, and would
also put a number of active America West pilots below long-furloughed
US Airways pilots who, until the merger, had little prospect of an early
return."

What did West pilots have to do with an arbitrator's decision, btw? Other than being made the enemy for expecting the other side to live up to their side of the agreement.

You and Mike C can pound sand. Both are void of integrity:

Integrity means following your moral convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances. ... knowing what is important and holding fast to that idea, even when it is not convenient...

Didn't mean to get you so upset. Watch the golf and have a nice cool beverage!
Oh, not upset. Just loading the boat with my catch from the forum while waiting for the wife gets ready for a night out. It would have been a good day for golf. 78 and sunny. Not a bad suggestion.
