Doesn't surprise me. Couldn't have happened at a worse time, on a friday and the weekend with alot of spring breakers. The computer problem that CNN reports, is not the employees faults whatsoever, it is Tempe's. How long can DoUgIe keep BS-ing the public? Its getting OLD. But still, I read one post on here that they ferried a plane to CLT and refused to carry any passengers? That's not good. US just has to realize is that the best way out isn't neccesary the cheapest, but the proper way to go. In My business, I go with You got to spend money to make money. If I go cheap, I get back what I deserve. I spend and the job gets done right, then I have customers coming back for further business. They know that paying the extra price gets them better results. Sure you aren't going to make any money right away, but its the returning customers that will keep pumping in the money for the quality of the job. Parker's way is to use "Duct Tape" or "Band-Aids". They only work for so long till they need reworking.

The only reason that I know of for going from Sabre to QIK is that the latter is cheaper. Piney Bob uses the example of "knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing". Put another way: "Penny Wise but Pound Foolish". (Wasn't Pennywise the Clown" the villain in some Stephen King book. The QIK fiasco and the St Paddy's Day storm seem as scary as a Stephen King story
). Maybe LCC should change its NYSE symbol to PWPF.When jetBlue had the Valentine's Day Fiasco, at least its top brass was on CNN apologizing and saying they were deeply embarrassed.

And the CEO for jetBlue went on "The Late Show with David Letterman" the following week. David was making jokes about jetBlue ever since that happened and Neeleland still went on and apologized and beared the brunt of the jokes. Could Parker do that? Ensign Parker has to do what's right for a change, Mommy and Daddy won't always be there to "Bail" him out!
It's amazing. In Tempe, they called all the weather people in the northeast to get as much snow as possible to strand passengers. I don't know what Tempe was thinking. They should have kept flying in these conditions - I'm sure the revenue is more important than safety. It's ashame Tempe can't order up more bad weather to negatively impact customers. It's just one more way Tempe is working hard to screw the employees and customers. They now control the weather.

Tempe has very little to do with calling the shots on weather strategy in the East. Talk to OCC in PIT for that.
This is not a Kool Aid drinking statement, but rather just a way of putting this into perspective.
Spring break is here! flights are packed full, the storm hits the the 2nd largest hub and flights have to cancel. The bulk of these flights are express flights and there are no seats left to put people on, it's a weekend, it's spring break and again flights were already packed.
