World's top 10 safest airlines named

Oh you guys crack me up, a little more info on that list, did they just pull it out of thin air? The last statement is the best in this article' http://www.aviationbusiness.com.au/news/holistic-safety-rating-for-airlines-favours-bigger-carriers

Ok. These guys were trained by the company, right. So are you saying out training department propagates an crappy safety culture and the employees rise above it? Or are you saying the training department rises above the crappy safety culture and trains us to be safe despite the company?

Sounds like you're making excuses. The safety culture here is fine despite the east. Your attempts to slander the company are lame and no one is falling for it. Sully put it in the water because that was the only option he had left. Anyone here would have done the same.

This poor safety culture crap is just USAPA trying to manufacture leverage and you guys being pissed at Parker. Amazing how it wasn't an issue a few years ago.
I'm not trying to "say" or "make" anything out of this. There are some of us here that don't automatically see everything through the lenses of the pilotfight™. I was clarifying a point that you either missed or willfully misinterpreted. Crap dude.

Air France? Have they not bent more metal than the tin knockers on the Trade Center Building?

As someone who spent the last ten years in a training department of a large corporation let me say this. The training department can really impact the culture of an organization. In some companies the mere fact that training exists show the employees that management does care about their professional development and is often a morale booster.

Conversely when training is mandatory in order to be in compliance with some industry regulations then it is often viewed by Sr Management as a "Necessary Evil" which does no favors for the trainer of the trainers as the attitude becomes jet's just be quiet and get this over with and as a result very little is learned or of value to the field people required to attend.

So a question to you all. Do you look forward to training or do you dread it? If you dread it then management is sending the wrong message.

Our training at AWA was top notch and we had a crashless record to prove it.

With AQP, it's gone to ####. The instructors are great but the content is lacking. This is an industry wide issue with AQP that the Fed signed off on. What relatively little time we get is well spent but more wouldn't hurt.

And yes, I do enjoy the training events.
