Working at Ewr

Anybody work on the ramp at Ewr? How is it? How are the coworkers? Is it hard to find a roomate or crash pad? Any info would be gladly appreciated.

workers are for the most part, lazy, and are quick to stab you in the back, be careful. It is a very relaxed environment though, management is pretty easy going. It is definately not hard to find a roomate. If you would like to have a phone # to a crashpad that has openings (it is $175 a month) I can let you know. No use of kitchen, it is literally a place to crash...not far from EWR airport, kindof bad neighborhood.

Thanks for the info I put in an application at Continental a month ago and haven't heard anything yet. They claim they have 450 slots open on the website. So I don't know what the hold up is. Yeah but I will keep you in mind if I get hired and need a roomate.

If it helps...I've been applying for a year now to different airlines and I'm finally getting interviews...probably another year before I get hired.

Yeah anyone indeed...hopefully I get hired soon.

Are you come kind masochist? (Definition: the tendency to invite and enjoy misery of any kind, especially in order to be pitied by others or admired for forbearance)

I sincerely hope the only reason you want to go to work on the ramp for any airline right now is that you are:

1) Independently wealthy and like pain

2) Doing some kind of research project for a prospective real career

3) see reason 1
