Wonderful Passengers And Crews

Since the 1st of Jan I have had the pleasure of working 2 red eyes to the west coast and a 2 day LAS trip.
After the Xmas drama, I was really quite nervous of how the mood of the flying public was going to be. I expected the worst . Boy was I suprised. The passengers to and from PHL and SEA and SFO were nothing but excellent. They were smiling from ear to ear and kept thanking myself and the other 3 FAs for the wonderful service. A couple who have been flying us since the Allegheny days, said we have the best employees and they wish nothing but the best for us. Quite touching. This is the stuff you will never hear about in the press. The dedicated hard working employees who love there jobs and provide good service day after day. You know who you are! Keep up the good work.

Deano, CAV, Capt. Kirk,

Save your $1.95 and move on with your life. You must have other interests, than again, maybe not.

I was a Chairman's Preferred since the start of the program until we moved jobs to Arizona, and my travels have taken me on other carriers and to Asia. Over the years I have written about a dozen or so letters to USAirways' Consumer Affairs about great F/As and counter people. In each letter I mentioned them by name. I have never heard back from anyone. Does/did the company get comments from appreciative customers to the individuals? Or, have these letters gone into an never-never file land?

By the way, I have also written over the years to Presidents Colodny, Wolff, and Gangwall about specific poor services and situations at PHL and great ones at PIT, but I've never gotten a reply from these letters either.

I've been amazed at how a company does not respond to caring customers who take the time to write such comments to them.

TransGuy,
I Concur! My last four day (started out as a 21:58 and ended out to be 27:29 four day<those were the days>trip), I had nothing but Thanks and Good Luck and "We hope you make it" kinda of stuff is just Fantastic. Thanks to All of our Loyal Passengers!!

Oh and Piney Bobby...It's over you will need to look for other entertainment, maybe find a girlfriend or a domestic partner.

Some food and frills are gone, but I think service from flight attendants is as good or better than ever. I flew BOS/PIT/LAX roundtrip this weekend, and everyone was just great, especially the FA in first this morning PIT/BOS. Years ago I saw a few real lazy FAs and wrote a couple letters, but as far as I'm concerned there's nothing to complain about in that regard lately.

Often wondered the same thing about the CP forms we get to fill out to mention the great service a specific employee provided - do those actually reward the specified employee?
