WN Mechanics seek mediation

I agree. I honestly think it has happened too quickly to meet all the needs of the membership from where they were at last sessions. Plus, I haven't heard any info about what will happen to LOA 1 & 2, back pay (retro/bonus) that 6th week of vac as well as banking vac., 401K match increase, (not expecting to match pilots, but would like to see an improvement here maybe a few % points) Also have not heard a single word about ETOPS, and other city maint. improvements. And of course did the company ever fix the lack of their bonus, snap up %, and raises for each and every year on the outgoing years??? Lots of lacking info from the last session so I do not expect the union to sign off on it as a T/A. At this point I am smelling a NO vote from the bits and pieces I have heard of so far, but I will wait for the unions release before spreading any misinformation.
Swampy that makes almost no sense, why would you hold fast, then fold, just to produce a no vote, would that be to prove a point?

At least you threw the "almost" out there. Not sure as of yet. As we have not heard from the union.
And bam, as soon as we say that I just got a message on phone from union. I will get back tou you after I read it... Stay tuned it is the announcement....

It kinda looks to me like with all the pressure from the company and probably the mediator and of course some whiny AMFA members, the negotiating committee decided to put it out for a vote. I don't expect it to fulfill most of our expectations though. IF it doesn't , I'm a no vote.

Be careful what you wish for it passed in 2009.

Be careful what I wish for? Are you dyslexic? If you are I will excuse your lack of reading comprehension. By the way, you are included in that group of whiney AMFA members.
Glad you think so, I didn't come to fight I just don't understand if that is their strategy, after their road shows last year. Because if that happens, you will drive it into 2019. People need a say either way crowsfoot.

Looking forward to reading all of you disseminate it and point out the good and the bad.

So driver where do the wages set you as far as the industry?

And however the vote turns out congratulations for finally getting to this point. I really mean it.

I haven't seen the pay scales, yet or what they agreed too, be slightly above Delta and United, so we will see, most people want a fair wage, our back pay or bonus or whatever you call it. The station and job protections, so we will see when the details come out. Not going to spread false information. I am sure alot of people are just tired of it. Have the road shows, and let everyone decide for themselves.

This last update has a summery. 14.8% snap up and 3% per year times 4 years.

I read it on my email not terrible , not bad for me as a lead, so we will see, finally gets the maintenance instructors in our rules and lead pay, gives maintenance controllers a raise, a nice raise! How many old guys want to go, we will find out.

So am I foot. Snap up is not correct. Still missing 2018 3% raise. Co. wants to change the contract date, not gonna happen. No raise offered for 2023 when we had it in our last contract. I will be a NO vote until an offer comes to make us whole for the past 6 years and the future of 5 years plain and simple SWA, get back to the table and ger er done. Here's an update from AMFA...

AMFA - SWA Technician Negotiations Update #63
The Negotiating Committee is providing this update to the AMFA Membership at Southwest Airlines. This report is the only official authorized source of negotiating communications by the Committee.

Yea you want it to pass. Snowflake...

Who cares how long it takes at this point? He's right you are a whiner.

You are so wrong. We will not accept anything less than what we have held out for after the 5 year pay freeze and the extra year of nego's. Get a clue dude. Until you see the pay rates then shut up until you get all info. They are still trying to get away with out full retro and full snap up as far as the pay scales. And there is more. Get to the road shows and get to the monthly meetings to get all the info. You always seem to be short of all the info...

You know what you decide what you want, so will I , face it they AMFA ran out of a strategy, if they wanted a no vote, then they should have sent it out two years ago, I told you that snowflake!!! If it passes it passes, if it doesn't then so be it, and we wil be into 2019.

AMFA has NOT ran out of strategy, and they do want a NO vote on current offer. Now snowflake, will you support our nego cmte and give them a NO vote? Or will you simply become to your lower enablings and cave for the IGM group?? I await your response and your reasons for it. Don't try and turn the snowflake on me chief it never works that way. I could care less if this goes into 2019, and BTW why do you care if it does??? Answer the questions...
