ugly would be a tepid description. i have "heard " a 775 number of pilot jobs with basically at 10 to 1 ratio pilot jobs to non pilot jobs that equates to 7500 or so other employees for a total of about 8000 less employees (about 25-30% reduction)

if applied to aircraft thats about 84 hulls. (how many boeings do we have?)

please go back to what you were doing now.

that is all

Yeah, like anyone could. When things look blackest, you're always there with the voice of doom. :p

God, Javaboy, that sounds awful. I feel for you guys. I've been furloughed for over a year now, and every time an airplane goes overhead, I wish I was on it working.

i urge you to read all of or for that matter any of my posts. i think you will find either a cut/paste or link to factual data, i have long been (try 17years) advocate of i (me personally) can achieve the targeted cost reductions WITHOUT w2 nor headcount reductions.

Perhaps i was not clear. the pilot group has 775 (can be reduced to 250) IN PRINT.
i guess i should more clearly stated have any other groups had numbers projected to them.

for that i would appologize, after that i can stand up and say as others are aware i have done more than my share (and i'm not talking about cuts in pay and/or benefits ect) to turn this companyaround.

THE COMPANY is great THE MANAGEMENT TEAMS have not been.
