Looks like 300 from VF1 extended and 250 from VF2-6 extended. So thats 550 of the close to 1100 i believe are due back. The VSIP numbers are still not out, but I dont think 550 took it, im guessing more around like 300, but I guess we will see the #s shortly. Anyone know the VSIP #s?
PITBULL....just your honest opinion...If the compnay does get rid of the 55/75/105 and 4 trip options for FAs dont you think many will just resign because they have just had it. Thats the feeling im getting when talking to other FAs on the line.
The options are going along with any kind of quality of life here at U.
I've spoken to many, many f/as. They can't afford to just quit. The company needs to give them what AFA is proposing to "bridge" them to another kind of work. Otherwise, they will continue to be miserable here, and keep working.
I've said to managmnet repeatedly, the morale here is destroyed. The co. needs to cash incentivize folks so they can leave and find other employment without losing everything they have worked for thus far.
This is the right thing for the co. to do for all employees. If they don't have the money now, they need to set a target date and set aside for this purpose. NO point in keeping employees who have lost the incentive to be productive and lost their spirit for this industry. No matter what anyone thinks, folks just can't afford to quit unless you have plenty of money in the bank to hold you over until you achieve another type of employment.
