Yep, every airbus pilot has been personally briefed  on how to avoid any re- occurance of this incident. I am not disputing the news' accuracy or lack thereof, or the press releases, for that matter.
If you are an airbus pilot and this is new information for you, I am suprised. Such a hot topic usually generates a discussion during any training event or casual conversation with a check airman or GS instructor.
 
I don't understand what satisfaction you garner by opening up this wound publicly.
I think it's reprehensible behavior and reiterate that you should be ashamed of yourself.
It is not professional behavior. It's not even civil.
Sheesh.
