Hubs are always going to be slower at a turn than an outstation, due to the nature of getting everyone and their bags together. It is much easier in an outstation where have everyone coming in from the same place (the ticker counter), and they have nowhere else to go.
As for the PIT comment above, the flights will not come back to PIT until PIT shows some cost flexibility. The PIT backers that keep screaming for the flights to be put back there fail to address the overwhelming cost disparity between PIT and CLT for making connections. And do not try and say move the flights from PHL to PIT. PHL's O&D revenue is enough to keep those flights there. Moving flights from PHL to PIT on a performance basis alone is tatamount to asking CO to move flights from EWR to CLE because of EWR's congestion. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!
