US Airways employees are not the only Western Pennsylvanians anxious about their airline's future.

A second bankruptcy reorganization in less than two years would crimp payments to hundreds of suppliers like Heeter Printing Co., a family-owned company in Canonsburg.

That is the most hilarious thing I've seen in my life. I can't believe they wrote about a supplier that may have lost...$650...thats nothing...

I really hope the company can make it..but...man..its not looking good.

I can't believe that you find it hilarious. It is a question of scale. To that printer, losing $650 might have the same impact on the company's finances that losing $65 million might have for GECAS.

Seems to me any vendor doing business with USAIRWAYS most likely has been reading the newsapaper or watching tv the last couple of years, since the last bankruptcy, cannot say it is out of the blue...or should be shocked...I guess he figured the Alabama Retirement System worth over $1 billion dollars could handle payment for his services, to a company they now own ...

First off, the RSA is not worth $1 billion, it is worth $25 billion. Second, the RSA is no more responsible for the debts of US Airways than Disney is responsible for the debts of ABC television network. And, Disney is not just the majority stockholder in ABC (as RSA is to US Airways). Disney owns ABC lock, stock, and barrel.

Actually, Disney is responsible for the debts of ABC. But that is a completely different relationship than US and RSA.
