US Airways 757 Envoy much better seat than Delta 757 BizElite seat

Well it didn't stop them from selling those seats for next year and I doubt they will go from the 22F to any kind of J by April of '08.

And that is indeed one of the t/a birds because it has a TW registration and has the winglets.

Lobjaw a few things for your young mind. I'll even spell it out in bullet form...

-The image you showed of DL's exTWA 757s do not feature BusinessElite - therefore you cannot compare your 757s to Delta's.
-The aircraft have had nothing more than seats reupholstered in leather and winglets added - to get them into service (to make money).
-The aircraft are being sold as ECONOMY only until they get the new Recaro BizE seats that were recently ordered. Conversions begin later this year.
-Once full reconfiguration happens the aircraft will feature DL's 757 BusinessElite product and new slimline seats in Y. All seats on the aircraft will get DELTA on DEMAND at every seat (for your mind - it's called PTVs). The a/c will also get new overheads, lighting, and PTV operated PSUs for every passenger.

Now, unlike USAirways, Delta seems to be serious about their reconfiguration. The first 737-800 just came out of the shop with the new interior (PTVs every seat, slimline seats in Y, new carpet, PSUs, lighting and even winglets on the bird) this weekend. All of the ex-SONG aircraft are reconfigured, the first domestic 767-300 goes in later this month for its new interior (New seats in F/Y, slimline, PTV, carpet, leather, etc...).

By mid-next year, all of Delta's domestic 767-300s, 38 737-NGs and over 50 757s will have received the new interiors with DELTA on DEMAND. So, I would say DL can get 15 757s reconfigured to J by next 2008's summer season.

Now, I'm not dogging USAirways, but listen LobJaw - don't pick a fight over something you truly have no knowledge about. You can talk about USAirways all you want given your very close (and personal...) connection with some people over at USAirways, but if you wanna talk about the Southern Belle, prepare for a fight, because with the Deltoid community it always will be.

C'mon Beauty - you know you love our new red-hair...

As was stated above, the picture above is a Delta 757 Domestic First Class product. 24 of them to be exact, as the 8 that US Airways offers on their 757's is clearly too few. Once Delta converts our Transatlantic 757's over to BusinessElite, we will offer 16 seats. Our current BusinessElite product is comparable to the new improved Envoy Class US Airways will be unveiling on their 767-200's, ie 60" of pitch, 160 degrees of recline, digital in-flight entertainment. However, our new Business Suite, which is truly flat, will be unveiled with the delivery of our first 777LR in March.

Current Delta BusinessElite,

And our new Business Suite,

I'm Sorry But I Just Worked The Lisbon Flight Last Week and When I Counted We Had 12 Envoy Seats. Please Get YOur Facts Right B4 You Post Wrong Information. Thanks!

When i said US Airways had 8 seats in First CLass, it was quite clear i was speaking of your Domestic Product, not Envoy Class.

Here's a seating chart of a LCC 757, Domestic configuration...

why bother delta777? it was obvious what you meant. I am more annoyed that this thread is saying US has a better product than Delta. There is so much misinformation in the original post the thread should be closed.
