Us Airways 737s Efis Or Non-efis Cockpits?

Do US Airways 737-300s all have non-EFIS cockpits? Southwest has non-EFIS cockpits, so it might make a difference in the event US Air goes away. Southwest says it prefers 737-700s, but it would take 737-300s if there was a big opportunity (and US Air's demise would be that for Southwest).

Is your dad's car automatic or standard? I know he's dieing of cancer and all, should be gone any day now right? What's taking him so long? I really need a new car and I like his. I don't drive a stick though, so I hope it's automatic. This is a really great opportunity for me, I can't wait until his demise! I hope your whole family dies, then I can have a whole selection of cars! :bleh:

What does it matter, we are not giving up any that we want to keep. Lessors and thge company came to a deal just today.

I doubt SWA needs aircraft bad enough to go for those we might shed that need major checks/overhauls when they can get the same number of new 700's just as easily...

Are Southwests new generation 737's steam guage cockpits, too? Does Boeing even OFFER that option?

I swore I saw some cockpit shots on "Airline" of a modern cockpit or two with the glass panels.

I'm given to understand that all of their 737-700's are glass cockpits, but they have the screens set up to look like the old "steam gauges" in the -300's, -200's, and -500's. I guess they could change the format of the displays pretty easily if/when desired.

I don't think WN really wants any of US's 737-300's since they're all at least 15 years old and probably need quite a bit of maintenance. It seems the only way they'd end up taking *some* ex-US aircraft is if US were to go out of business completely, leaving a void on the East Coast.
