Opening sentence says it all. (Well, not quite, but close.) This is more Byzantine than the Mueller Report.

"It’s been discussed for ages, but now the plans are real."

Warning: there is a link to the actual written plan document near the end of above link. Don't attempt to read it unless you have lots of free time to draw the plans that begin with "We will close and demolish gate 95Q, merge that traffic with flights from gates T47-T51.5 and build a new Terminal, called Concourse 5 in the median of Sepulveda Blvd. Access will be via Walking from Terminal 9 to Terminal 1 (comfortable shoes are recommended), then a short Bus ride to new Concourse 5 (which is actually, Terminal 0.)":D:(

Here we have a major revamp of the airport which serves the center of the cultural and intellectual universe, and not one person on here except me even cared. Shame on you all! May you be assigned to a luggage transfer cart which shuttles between gate 1 and gate 948 at Atlanta airport.

You know, you're right. I hadn't thought of the implications of calling it Concourse 0, but that's what they're calling it.
