I like this last statement: But Bodenstein contends that the agreement outlined by United does not guarantee someone else wouldn't pay more for the aircraft than the unnamed party the airline is working with.

! Maybe a competitor would pay more to the lease companies and banks for the planes. It would serve UniTED right if they lost the planes :blink: . They should have dealt with this issue at the very beginging. Long before they came begging the employee groups to sacrifice and take away the pensions.
