CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) -- A computer malfunction at United Airlines halted all departures systemwide for two hours Wednesday, the carrier said.

Spokeswoman Robin Urbanski said the airline did not yet know what caused the problem, which she described as a computer outage.

A united customer service representative announced that they will soon launch an ongoing series of meaningless appologies later this week.
