Well folks, Jerry GlASS is still at it with his union busting techniques. Just look at the state of employee relations. They claim that they are labor friendly but look at how they demonstate their benevolence????

I just cannot understand why there is so little outrage toward UAIR execs and the BK Court???? They are dismembering us in systematic fashion and people remain complacent???? Apathetic????

We need to voice our outrage loud and clear so that all of corporate america will take note of the fact that we will not tolerate any more abuse!! To hell with Crystal City and Dr. Jackass in Alabama. They have enjoyed breaking it off in us for way too long. Time to break back!!!!!!

Use your heads people and quit being sheep......willingly walking towards the slaughter!!!!

Think about it and die on your feet......not on your knees  !!!!

"Lets rock!!"

Battle NEVER over, my friend. E-trons is 100%.

This managment is "dismantling the workforce" before our eyes!

PEACE??? Battle over?????????? NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pitbull,

"Battle NEVER over, my friend. E-trons is 100%."

Motivation is a strange thing.....

A motivated pilot would try to get shortcuts on the routing to save time and fuel.

A non-notivated pilot could just fly the normal routing.

A motivated pilot would try to fly the filed altitude to save fuel.

A non-motivated pilot could have a "hunch" it might be bumpy up there so fly lower, using more fuel.

A motivated pilot would use reduced T/O power when weight allows, saving engine "wear & tear".

A non-motivated pilot could be extra-cautious and use full T/O thrust "just in case".

A motivated pilot would put off descent as long as possible, saving fuel.

A non-motivated pilot could descend early, using more fuel.

Etc.

The point is that you don't always have to "beat your chest" to fight the battle....

And doing things that cost the company more money just increases the need for additional cost savings. Where do you stop the spiral before we go SPLAT?

No, it is not a violation to have the same judge get both bankruptcy cases. I was the named defendant in three successive federal cases brought by the same party, that were heard by the same judge more than 300 miles away, because the plaintiff went judge-shopping. P.S. We won. In this case, the company and the bankruptcy court have limited options due to geographic considerations.

The are many potential conflicts of interest. Union reps on the corporate BOD who do not relinquish their union positions. A Chairman of the Board who diminishes the value of one asset to enhance the value of another.

Cut Judge Mitchell some slack on this one. Statutorily, his primary responsibility is to maximize value to the creditors. His rulings are consistent with Federal Bankruptcy Code.

MMW,

"Where do you stop the spiral before we go SPLAT?"

That'd be a good question for upper management. They're the one's that started this "spiral" of trying to succeed on the backs of the employees while doing little else. Seems they always have a reason for lack of effort on their part - it's the wrong time of the year to implement structural changes, we'll lose all those talented people if we cut management pay, we can't do anything until we get concessions, etc.

What makes their reasoning valid, makes mine valid. If I'm not here (100% cut) my productivity is 0 - a 100% drop. They've just said that I'm only worth 50% so my productivity should match.

I agree that the leadership of this company (past and present) need to be accountable for their actions / inactions over the last decade. In the same tone, employees will need to be accountable for their behavior. Calling in sick, "slowing down", etc will do nothing to help our cause. Especially for any group that doesn't come to a concessionary agreement and will have to go back in front of the judge....if we make it that far.

I understand being upset and unmotivated by recent events....but please choose your battles wisely and think of the reprecussions of your actions.

MMW,

"but please choose your battles wisely and think of the reprecussions of your actions."

Words upper management should also have heeded long ago.

When you look at the recent events, all react differently. That is the part of being human. I for one will not slowdown or even have a sick out even if my union calls for one which is unlikely. I react differently. Yes I am bitter towards our misguided clowns that occupy CCY who have never got it and never will. I plan plan on doing my best each and every day and want nothing more than when my times comes to leave either voluntary or involuntary I want them to miss me. As I have posted on another topic it will be a moral victory only. But so be it. Yes the company controlls my paycheck and benis but that is it. The azzzz clowns in CCY DO NOT AND WILL NOT CONTROL MY LIFE....PERIOD!!!!!
