And I suppose that you feel that you are more qualified to determine what is in the interests of the members of Local 562 than the members of Local 562?Checking it Out said:Bob after your posting lately it was obvious you are not in the best interest of the members either and the International made a wise choice to have you removed.
Let's see, 30 is what % of 18,661? Not wanting to say each person shouldn't have a voice, but let's not get shook if you don't change the industry with your masses.Bob Owens said:And I suppose that you feel that you are more qualified to determine what is in the interests of the members of Local 562 than the members of Local 562?
Or when you say "members" do you only refer to the members that congregate at the Kremlin on Pine?
Your posting reveals how you truly feel about Democracy.
18661? No Local 562 only has around 1000 members. But then again if we count the dead, retired, resigned, terminated, and add the same names over and over again who knows what we would have?Nightwatch said:Let's see, 30 is what % of 18,661? Ahhhh...but yet you stand behind another election year of AMFA's that Delle once again ran unopposed. I'm sure that's because no one in the AMFA organization, other than Delle, has the desire to promote himself/herself.TonyB said:CIO and Nightwatch are quick to blindly defend the corruption and shenanigans Scummy...I mean Sonny Hall.
After all they have their own TWU sanctioned scam up in Tulsa. What pieces of s@#$t!!!
Maybe those in the AMFA, unlike those in the TWU have higher priorities than self promotion.Nightwatch said:Ahhhh...but yet you stand behind another election year of AMFA's that Delle once again ran unopposed. Bob, I bet you've even met God once huh? Did you go over the mistakes he had made over dinner? Did God thank you for pointing out his shortcomings? C'mon now Bob, didn't the guy across the street see that meeting and ask " Hey, who's that guy with Bob?" You're so great Bob.Bob Owens said:Maybe those in the AMFA, unlike those in the TWU have higher priorities than self promotion.
Its funny you should bring up self promotion. When I spoke to Sonny Hall face to face in May of 2003, after corresponding with him several times , about the issue of merging all the AFL-CIO airline divisions into one Union, Sonny insisted that he would be in favor of it but that the guys under him, who "have a desire" to promote themselves within the TWU would be against it because a consolidated Airline labor movement would provide less opportunity for them. Sonny admitted that such a structure where the entire industry was under one union be better for the members but claimed that "the guys under him", because of their self serving attitudes, would block it. So in other words our leaders would rather that all labor in the airlines suffer to preserve their six figure salaries and opportunity to move up within a structure that they know does not meet the members needs. Now you know why these leaders do not want membership elections of International officials. If they were accountable they could no longer pursue their own interests!
In reference to God I believe that the TWU officials are on the opposite end of the spectrum.Nightwatch said:Bob, I bet you've even met God once huh? During the convention Roger and Sonny both were interview and Rogers philosophy was not in the best interest of the membership. That simple!
When the insurance was offered I and many others review it and seen it was not for us!
Currently the retires have a lawsuit pending because transamerica mis-lead the policy and deserve to lose and a refund is due.
