What's new

twu seniority

I read someplace on this forum that it is a misprint
That was AMFAinMIAMI that made that comment. Not sure if that was his opinion or
had it confirmed that it was a misprint.

If its a misprint its must be a major one. It was sent out that way in emails, news letters, Facebook and the website that is posted above.

Normally DOH is used for Vacations and NRSA at US, then down to Classification dates for bidding, furloughs etc. An upgrade utility with 25 years and 10 years Mechanic time does not bump an 11 year Mechanic.

I believe that policy speaks to a TWU to TWU merge. There are several AA and US groups that are both represented by TWU.

Only TWU at US is the dispatchers, no one else.

Wrong again. TWU Local 544 represents flight crew training instructors and sim engineers.

I dont see why we didnt have a seniority integration committee from US and AA to decide this. Was this another item decided by Jim Little without seeking advice from the membership?

Another thing I keep hearing, is that US didnt have to negotiate with us. http://aa.twu.org/Li...VNg=&tabid=1494

Well, if they wanted our support, then yes they did need to. I see what or support was worth, giving away our 5% profit sharing for a 4.3% raise. We would have recieved the money anyway during the 36 month industry average adjustment.

This will be the TWU's undoing in the smaller groups. They are fed up also.
