BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!! I get tired of your better-than-thou attitude from you guys. Always looking out for yourselves. I have noticed a definate trend on this site. You guys take some bit of information, spin it to the way you see fit to bash the TWU then pass that on as factual information. BUT if you look at the different topics that have been started on this site you will noitice that there is VERY, VERY, VERY LITTLE positive information FOR AMFA. Go ahead look back. HMMMMM???? Look at the FACT that the twu international REMOVED two ELECTED union officials.

Most I talk with are not buying the smoke screen attempt to change the issue to a "where was the flag mounted" debate.

I have a letter in my posession from a Vietnam Veteran and it states this fact. He addresses the attachment point issue, because that is how the TWU handled his demand for a public apology.

Needless to say, he did not get his public apology from the TWU Leadership, and he is now getting veterans to climb on board the AMFA Revolution.

He did mention that an individual did apologize in person and claimed personal responsiblity for the display (Rick Mullings). But he says a public display of such humiliation required a public apology, and he will accept nothing less. If the TWU did nothing wrong mojo, then why the personal apology to the VET?

I am ashamed to even hear the local news claim the TWU represents the skilled Mechanics and Professionals at AA. This needs to change.

AMR faces TWA contract lawsuit

AMR Corp.'s American Airlines Inc., the world's largest airline, must face former Trans World Airlines Inc. workers' claims that the carrier reneged on an agreement giving retirees free and cut-rate airfare after acquiring TWA, a judge said.

U.S. District Judge Joseph J. Farnan Jr. in Wilmington, Del., rebuffed American's bid to throw out suits by a former TWA pilot, flight attendant and other employees over the airline's refusal to honor a union contract providing free passes and reduced airfares to some retirees. American purchased TWA in a bankruptcy court auction in 2001 for $4.2 billion.
