The director of Homeland Security had no answer when asked if the “vetting” process amounted to anything more than asking refugees to fill out an application, asking them a few questions in a verbal interview, and assuming they answer honestly. The best Director Jeh Johnson could offer were vague assurances that the “tight-knit, supportive communities” they settle into would “embrace” these refugees.

As a side note, what exactly was a 15 year old doing protesting a candidate in election she isn't eligible to vote in?... I wouldn't expect a 15 year old to completely understand all the issues at play (this I know from conversations with my own kids at that age and nieces & nephews...).

I have been pleasantly surprised at how engaged (and aware) kids are of today's political landscape. It's easy to fall into the idea of them all being completely disaffected, but it's not always the case.
As for the 15 yr. old at the JVL rally, why shouldn't she be there? Whoever moves into 1600 Penn. in January will be her president as well...
