What are/how long does it take to get travel benefits working as a 32hr/week CSR?

Thanks,
JB

Most likely, six months for the employee & spouse/kids, regardless if you were full-time or part-time, but it's changed a few times in the past couple years. IIRC, buddy passes take 12 months.

What are travel benefits? Can we actually use them?

Not only can we use them but my daughter was treated wonderfully by the IAD staff on Sun. She had a horrible experience on KLM (as a "real pax") and her quick visit home had been cut to mere hours (she lives in Germany). In addition ALL of her luggage was lost and she had to meet her new in-laws in athletic clothes. The IAD staff gave her a "family" hug and sent her home to this mom so she could buy a few things to survive the short visit with her husband's entire family. Many thanks . I hope if any of you read this bb, you will pass on my sincere wishes for a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Also, on the way back to IAD, agent Joyce was providing the same kind and caring service I remember from the TWA days. It made me proud on all accounts. Good service (even to non revs) IS alive and well. And as stated on another thread, the spirit of the former TWA does still live on in individual service. Thank you.

If it consistent for all employees...

I was in the first class to graduate after the rule changed on 01SEP00. No travel for self or immediate family for 6 months; no buddy passes for two years.
